Common Chords debuts at GALA Festival, Denver
by Jeff Roy - Bass, Administrative Assistant to Common Chords

Common Chords, the outreach ensemble of Perfect Harmony Men's Chorus made its debut at GALA Festival-Denver in July 2016 with our set of old and new favorites! Common Chords was well received by the audience and we were thrilled to perform at the Festival. Common Chords was created in 2014 to continue to further the PHMC mission to "create, enrich, and transform community through music." Common Chords has performed in the Madison and neighboring communities to help spread that mission. We've recently performed at Make Music Madison, a community-wide outdoor music festival, at the historic Stoughton Opera House in support of the local chapter of PFLAG, and at concerts and fundraisers for our greater chorus. Members of Common Chords 2016 were:
Edward Anderson, Franzo Law II, Christopher Ballar-Mientus, Dan Ross, Jeff Roy, Jeff Smith, Stephen Spera, Cooper Thomas, Tim Vanderburg, Joel Weltman, Kevin Wery, and Brian Schultz- Vocal Coach/Accompanist

We held auditions for the new Common Chords Ensemble in September and look forward to another exciting year of music making. Thank you for all your past support and continued support with our group.
